Scout
A compact autonomous mobile robot built for Research & Development
Scout is a compact autonomous mobile robot built around heterogeneous compute, real-time perception, and deterministic control. It integrates vision-based navigation, sensor fusion, and embedded AI pipelines into a tightly engineered platform designed for experimentation in autonomy, mobility, and robotics system architecture.
The robot's modular hardware and software design allow rapid iteration across mechanical, electrical, and embedded subsystems. Scout provides a controlled environment for developing and validating mobility behaviors, perception models, and platform-level integration techniques. It serves as a practical foundation for exploring autonomy in constrained, real-world robotics applications.
I am currently preparing a full breakdown of Scout's mechanical design, sensor stack, compute architecture, and autonomy pipeline.
The first public release will include an overview of the platform, its hardware foundations, and the autonomy systems that drive it. Please check back soon.
