Cloutier.engineer is my independent research lab focused on applied compute, robotics, embedded systems, and intelligent hardware. I use this space to explore advanced robotics concepts, heterogeneous compute architectures, and real-time embedded AI pipelines. My work includes building autonomous systems, benchmarking emerging CPU/GPU/NPU technologies, and developing reproducible engineering workflows grounded in real hardware behavior.
Through Cloutier.engineer I publish research, prototype new ideas, and build end‑to‑end demonstrations that connect perception, control, and intelligent automation.

“I've spent more than twenty years building robotics platforms, embedded systems, and advanced compute architectures. My graduate work in computer engineering and computer science explored hardware-assisted secure memory management for heterogeneous FPGA systems and interactive algorithm visualization. Those early projects shaped the way I think about hardware-software interaction and intelligent systems, and they continue to guide my work.
This site exists because I wanted a place where deep engineering R&D actually gets done. I focus on systems that matter, and I stay close to the metal because that's where the interesting problems live."
